Congratulations to IHACC investigator Shuaib Lwasa for recently being recognized as a co-author on Environmental Research Letters Best Emerging Regions Article of 2020! The article, titled “Pathways for resilience to climate change in African cities” reviews qualitative evidence to examine local and citywide interventions that enhance climate change resilience in Africa.

IHACC Team Member Leads Nature Publication Examining Global Literature on Adaptation to Climate Change

Congratulations to IHACC investigator Lea Berrang Ford and other IHACC co-authors on their recent publication in Nature Climate Change! The paper maps out global literature on human adaptation to climate change, and identifies priorities for future adaptation research.

IHACC Welcomes Valeria to the team!

IHACC is excited to introduce new team member Valeria Morales! Valeria is a nutrition student in the final year of her of her program at Cayetano Heredia University in Peru. Valeria will work with the IHACC Peru team to support activities including the finalization of a Shawi food book and the development of a digital tool to evaluate diet and food biodiversity among Shawi Indigenous communities.
