The Arctic team recently held a results sharing workshop in Iqaluit to go over some of the emerging findings from the food security and AGI survey conducted in 2012 and 2013. Attended by over 20 people - including representatives from various government departments, Inuit organization, and public health - the one day workshop began with IHACC team members presenting research results and outlining proposed next steps. This was followed with discussion and break-out sessions to examine the implications of the results for health policy and planning, and to inform the development of a result sharing strategy for the community at-large.
