Iqaluit result sharing workshop, June 2014
The Arctic team recently held a results sharing workshop in Iqaluit to go over some of the emerging findings from the food security and AGI survey conducted in 2012 and 2013. Attended by over 20 people - including representatives from various government departments, Inuit organization, and public health - the one day workshop began with IHACC team members presenting research results and outlining proposed next steps. This was followed with discussion and break-out sessions to examine the implications of the results for health policy and planning, and to inform the development of a result sharing strategy for the community at-large.
Setting up Field Work along the Armanayacu River

Uganda-Peru Capacity Building: Didacus travels to Peru
Didacus Namanya recently traveled to Peru to assist the Peruvian team with health systems analyses and issues around governance. He spent time in Lima working with Dr Llanos, Dr Carcamo, Jahir, Nancy and Alejandra and then traveled with Alejandra to one of the communities where IHACC works.
